These are a few of my favorite things!

On this weight-loss journey, at least!

I have been trying to find what works for me to eat in order to both lose weight and still be satisfied and I have come up with a few tricks of the trade. Things I'm loving right now include:

~Laughing Cow cheese wedges. These are awesome! I spread them on celery and it tastes so creamy and yummy! Plus they are really cute how they come individually packaged in a little wedge!

~Almonds. When I'm craving something crunchy and a little salty, I'll grab some almonds and that really satisfies. I do have to be careful not to overdue it, however, so I usually count out 15 and try to stick to that.

~Turkey bacon. It does taste a little different than the bacon we all know and love, but when I'm majorly burnt out on eggs for breakfast it does add a little flavor to an otherwise boring breakfast.

~Sugar-free fudge pops. I can eat one of these and convince myself that I'm having ice cream. Of course... they don't last very long. Sometimes I end up eating 2. But at 50 calories a pop, I can do that!

~Dried cherries. My friend makes this amazing chicken pasta salad using dried cherries and pecans. I don't use the pasta to make it more carb-friendly, and I eat it either on a bed of lettuce or just with a fork. It's amazingly good and I'm going to make a batch of it today to eat for lunches.

~Fiber One bars. I'll have one for breakfast or as a snack. They taste great, are very convenient, and they help keep things moving, if you know what I mean!

Now if I can just figure out a way to make water taste like Cherry Coke Zero, I'll be all set! :)
