Yes, I changed my ticker, but I'm not really down 0 lbs. I'm down 6 for the year. But I thought having an even 80 lbs to lose would be easier than tracking 86 lbs. I know, it doesn't make sense. But it works for me!

Today was a day. I made some good choices, and I made some not-so-good choices. Here's what I was proud of today:

I went to McDonald's this AM on my way to the church. I got Nathan a breakfast sandwich, and though I really really wanted one, all I got myself was a diet coke.

We had subway for dinner tonight and I got a 6-inch turkey with lots of veggies and no cheese.

Go me!

Now, here's what I was not so proud of today:

I ate spaghetti for lunch, which is not in and of itself bad, but it's high carb and I am trying to eat less carbs.

I only drank 16 ozs of water.

I got a DQ Blizzard tonight. And ate it. All.

I will say that I did get some exercise yesterday as Nathan and I and some friends walked up to the St. Patrick's Day Parade and then back to our house afterward. It was probably a little over a mile of walking, which is not a lot, but is much better than the nothing I have been doing!

  1. I'm really proud of you for getting back on track and at least trying to do something better than the status quo. Baby steps are good. They're at least moving you in the right direction.

    Go you!!!
